Hi, my name is Lauren Poindexter — and the Mom to Mom Relief Project was born from my own experience of being supported by a village when I desperately needed one. Earlier this year, I was faced with a legal emergency that required resources I didn’t have. My community showed up for me in ways I will never forget. That experience planted a seed in my heart:

Every mom deserves a village. And every village needs a way to show up.

 

The recent political climate accelerated that vision sooner than expected. Families are facing cuts and delays in essential benefits — and many moms are struggling to provide even the most basic necessities for their children. Hearing their stories broke my heart. I kept asking myself: How can I help… even if I don’t have the financial means personally?

 

Then it clicked. I could do what I do best:

Use my platform to connect resources to the moms who need them most.

 

This holiday season, the Mom to Mom Relief Project is supporting single mothers who are experiencing financial hardship. 💜
